There has been accelerated interest in EDI transaction processing in the ERP and Healthcare industries.  With the penetration of EDI transaction processing filtering down to smaller and smaller organizations, we have initiated a 'remote support' service for EDI processing.


With a focus on Oracle Enterprise One (JD Edwards 5 [World 9.1, XE and OneWorld] and other ERP/CRM systems and experience with the coordination and deployment of the application modules, interface transactions and third party systems, we have experience with most prevalent transaction sets, including ANSI X12, X12N, Tradacoms (UK), EDIFACT (EU), XML (various) and other variations. Our industry experience includes pharmaceutical, manufacturing, wholesale/retail, transportation, shipping & distribution, healthcare, electronics and other industries around the world.


We have an emphasis on Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and the deployment of the EDI interface transactions and third party systems interfaces.  Total entry to exit strategies for transaction processing provide a complete analytical transaction validation process to insure that ALL business processes work in concordance with the electronic transaction processes.


We have completed healthcare projects for a major Healthcare Industry Group, Contract HMO, State CHIP (Child Health Insurance Program) and have completed State Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) HIPAA Data Basere-engineering implementation Project. Most recently, we completed a revenue consolidation project for a large healthcare industry group covering clinical, radiology, laboratory and hospital transactions, adjudication and billing.  We have HIPAA EDItransaction standards available online.


Documentation & Procedures

  • All EDI transactions are completely documented.
  • Trading Partner Relationships, Contacts and Interchange formats are clearly defined.
  • Data communications via VAN, AS2, Secure FTP, Email or other means are clearly documented.
  • Trading Partner Agreements along with other pertinent contract information (pricing agreements, delivery commitments, transporation criteria, etc.) are clearly defined and communicated.

Translation and other service offerings

We offer full implementation, development and coordination support for all EDI activities.  Our consultants work from their local offices to support EDI transaction activity around the globe.  We currently support the following EDI systems and platforms:

  •  Inovis TLE/400 on the iSeries (AS/400) and DB2 data base (Client Access when available).
  •  Gentran on the Windows Platform (server and local workstations).
  •  Boomi - all platforms; including the SAAS WEB offering.
  •  Softshare - Windows Platform with MS/SQL, DB2 and Oracle.
  •  1EDI Source - Web and SQL Server
  •  TrueCommerce Integration Support - all platforms

All relationships are on a Corporation to Corporation basis.  All consultants are retained by Management Systems Consulting, Inc. and offer their services exclusively through this Florida based company.  All consultants are USA Citizens and speak USA English!


We Become your EDI Department!


We can function as your 'EDI Department' or provide additional support to your existing EDI Department!  Our consultants will represent your company to all outside parties as YOUR EDI Department!  All communications and transmittals will can be processed within your companies network and facilities; using VPN and other secured web based technologies.  We conform to YOUR specifications and requirements!


Let us function as or support your EDI Coordinator:

 

  •  Provide 1st level EDI production support.
  •  Analyze EDI specifications and integrate to the internal business application system requirements.
  •  Performs data mapping functions necessary to meet current business issues and satisfy business partner requirements.
  •  Perform trading partner implementations, which includes communications methods and mailboxes.
  •  Work with trading partners and internal functional teams to troubleshoot data and mapping issues.
  •  Maintain EDI documentation and develop clear and up-to-date procedures using EDIFECS.
  •  Coordination of EDI with UCC-128 label and customer shipping requirements.
  •  Analyze transaction files to identify data errors, transmission errors, and mapping errors.
  •  Review reports and log files on a daily basis.
  •  Answer production support emails and voice mails.
  •  Prioritize, research, track, and resolve EDI related issues.
  •  Work with Value Added Networks (VAN’s) to resolve transmission issues and retransmit EDI documents.
